Working for a Victory by Cierra Dougherty

Working for a Victory

Homecoming week is as busy as can be. People dressing up, competing, watching volleyball, but most importantly waiting for the football game against the Deerlodge Wardens on Friday.
Friday, Sept. 27th, the Mission Bulldog football boys played against the Deerlodge Wardens. The boys prepared as much as possible all week. They have been practicing as hard as they could, pushing it to their limits, and watching a ton of film. The coaches have been helping the boys fix their game mistakes and to make sure all the plays are completely perfect.
As we impatiently waited for the big day of the football game, we were hoping for a victory. As a manager, I believed we could win. The boys have the heart and skills to get what they want. Go Bulldogs!
Unfortunately, the Bulldogs who literally gave it their all, lost 24-48. On the other hand, it was a great game to watch.
